Our Philosophy and Missions

Since everyone has different learning styles, we take a multi-modal view in publishing a single story. With extensive teachers’ notes, wordless Story Cards for retelling, e-books for whiteboards and laptops, we produce a treasure trove of support material for teachers, parents and librarians.

Alliance for Various Literature

We are amongst four establishments chosen from over 40 contenders nationwide to collaborate with a national consortium of nonprofits and member organizations, all striving to boost accessibility to reasonably priced, first-rate children's literature reflecting diverse races, cultures, identities, and abilities. The consortium, through its action commitment, will amalgamate their collective market influence to purchase and disseminate 600,000 books reflecting diversity in the subsequent 18 months.

Home literacy routines promote healthy brain development, family bonding and increased literacy skills — all proven elements for lifetime success! That’s why we have partnered with Raising a Reader, a national leader in early literacy and family engagement, to donate one book for every order placed on our website, now through September 3, 2020 . Help us put 25,000 books into children's hands
